Studio Diary - October 2024
I think I'm going backwards.
But is it a bad thing?
I've stumbled into a pause.....
It's been a pretty hectic few months, culminating in Noosa Open Studios and I won't lie, I sat down on the Sunday afternoon and enjoyed the thought of having no particular deadlines to meet this side of the festive season - which someone reminded me the other day is only 12 weeks away (I've absolutely no idea how that can be possible, my brain is still in January).

Virtual Studio Visit
With Noosa Open Studios 2024 underway, I thought I'd take advantage of the beautiful weather (and the fact that my studio space is reasonably tidy) and do a short video tour, to share this years exhibition of work and my studio surrounds, for anyone not able to make it in person.
You'll see latest pieces from my new Wayfinder Series, which are now up in the Gallery section of my website and available works are listed in my Shop.

Studio Diary - July 2024
If you've ever stood on a windy clifftop and come across a battered old chain link fence sporting a rusty old sign that says 'Danger' with an icon of a person tumbling down some rocks, then generally, the message registers.
Go no further, something not-so-good might happen if you venture past this point.
As humans, staying in the 'safe zone' is an innate part of who we are; it's part of our evolutionary story.

Art VLOG - Get Stuck
As I've been getting ready to begin new work I've been doing plenty of sticking!
There are snippets of collage papers everywhere and I thought now would be a good time to do a quick demo on how I get my early layers of collage papers well stuck to my surface before I begin to paint.
