Space & Focus Workshop

I spent a wonderful morning with the Oils & Acrylics painting group at Wallace House exploring 'Space' as our Element of Art and 'Focus' as our Principle of Design. We explored positive and negative space and two different ways we can create focal points and areas of emphasis in abstract art, with colour and contrast placement. Check out our album from the morning - I think I may have a few collage converts on my hands!

Outside the Box Workshop

It doesn't get much more fun than this! My recent 'Outside The Box' workshop at Noosa Arts & Crafts was a fantastic weekend jam packed with colour, experimentation and exploration. Composition & Design Workshop

I was invited by the Oils & Acrylics Painting Group at Noosa Arts & Crafts Association to facilitate a 'Composition & Design' workshop. Why? Gelli Printing Workshop for Beginners

I was recently invited, by my artist friend Dale Leach and the Tinbeerwah Art Group in the Noosa Hinterland, to deliver a print and collage workshop to current members. Packing the car with all my supplies left me without doubt about being a travelling circus! I had to set the stage for what was to come, so off I went armed with artwork, sketchbooks, works-in-progress, paints, papers, boxes of stencils and textures, printing plates and rollers.....
