All originals are initialled on the front of the painting beneath the final varnish (generally in the bottom right corner) and have a handwritten non removeable authenticity label securely affixed to the reverse of the painting.

Open Edition paper and canvas prints do not carry an original signature.

Limited Edition prints are signed in the white border below the image, along with the edition number and painting title.

No, you may not copy, create prints or reproductions or reproduce Charlotte Wensley's artworks even if you have purchased and/or own the original painting by means of inheritance or gift.

Owning the original painting does not transfer ownership of copyright to you, the purchaser or owner.

The copyright of all images remains solely with the artist and is protected in law under the Copyright Act 1968 in Australia.

Reproduction of any original artwork, print or other images from the artist’s website or social media pages must not be made without the expressed written consent of the artist.

Infringement penalties will apply and legal action will be pursued where images have been the subject of theft by a third party.

Yes, all of my artwork is original and created by me, Charlotte Wensley. Each original painting is signed on the front and comes with an authenticity label affixed to the back of the work. Australian copyright laws protect all of my work.
