The Visitors Series - Video Catalogue
I recently found time to revisit an idea that emerged this time last year at Noosa Open Studios.
Taking part in the event in 2021 was a first for me, I had no idea what to expect, who would come (if anyone!) and how it would all go. But I signed up and leapt in with both feet, knowing that somehow an energy shift would take place, though I wasn't sure how it would happen or what it would look like, but I was up for the adventure.

Aspire Gallery - Abstracts Exhibition
Aspire Gallery at 53 Kennedy Terrace, Paddington in Brisbane selected 3 paintings from my 'Departure Series' for their August Abstracts show. A beautifully curated show of vibrant abstract artwork by emerging artists, a quick visit to check out the online catalogue is a must! Studios 100 Exhibition
To kick of the events for this year's upcoming Noosa Open Studios art trail (1-9 October), the Cooroy Butter Factory Arts Centre is hosting the Studios 100 Exhibition. It's a sneak preview group show by participating artists. Come along and get a taste of what the trail will have to offer visitors this year, pick up your trail guide and start planning!

Where's my lightbulb?
I rarely begin a piece having made a decision about what the focus will be. I find that just getting down to the work and committing to exploration creates an environment for those light bulb moments to happen; those moments when I suddenly realise what a particular painting is going to be about.

Noosa Open Studios 2022
It's nearly that time again! This years Open Studios event will run from 1-9 October.
The trail guide is now up online so you can browse at leisure ahead of time and plan your visit. With 117 studios open to the public across the event week, you're sure to find some real treasures just waiting to be discovered!
