It's an honour to have been selected as one of the forty finalists in this year's art prize with my mixed media work 'Arrival' from my 'Visitors' Series. Aspire Gallery in Paddington, Brisbane are once again the hosting 'Petite Pieces' Art Prize! I'm so excited to have had my work 'Grounded' selected to join the finalists exhibition at the gallery. Artlovers Australia are launching the Collectors Edition Book 2023 on 18 March and to celebrate, an exhibition of featured artworks will be on display at their Gold Coast and Melbourne Galleries 18-22 March. Selection for the book is by invitation only and I'm excited to one of the featured artists!

Following on from my current painting series, I've been having a play around with transposing some of my drawings using the gel plate, which resulted in some really interesting collage papers. I decided to start this sketch on gessoed paper with some big collage pieces to see what happened, instead of my usual line-based starter pieces.
