Wow, this year has flown by in a flurry of creative chaos!
I have so much to be thankful for this year and that's all down to each and every one of YOU!
A BIG THANKYOU to everyone who called in during my first Noosa Open Studios event, for all your wonderful conversations, interest in my work and in particular those who took home a piece of original art, a print, crazy pot, and those who signed up for one of my workshops or classes.
It was a very powerful experience to talk to so many people about all things art, from varnishing tips and tricks to art resonance and purpose and to connect with so many like-minded creatives and art lovers.
Despite the craziness in the world this year, I can honestly say I have never felt so grounded, purposeful and motivated in doing what I do, and being able to share the joy this brings me with all of you, is just the icing on the cake!
But most of all, this year has shown me just how much fun there is to be had in connecting with all of you, sharing my studio with you and supporting you in your creative endeavours. From the kids to the grown-ups, there is always something to learn from each other; sharing, collaboration and enjoyment are key to evolving our artistic journey, wherever we have started and wherever we are going.
Next year is shaping up to be busier than ever already, with three new series of works already underway and one day workshops and weekly classes planned to start again in February and some other 'projects' in the pipeline.
So, it's time for me to put the paintbrush down, for a few days at least, and enjoy the Christmas break with my lovely family. Though they won't be surprised if I sneak off to the studio whilst they're all sleeping off the Christmas dinner - creative minds never really take a break do they?!
From my family to yours, a heartfelt thanks for all the support you have given me this year and I wish you all very Merry Christmas and a Happy and prosperous New Year!
See you in 2022!
