'Earthly Nuances' Opening Night Album

Cooroy Butter Factory Arts Centre was abuzz on opening night with not only 'Earthly Nuances' opening, but also 'Mirror Mirror' to mark International Women's Day, and 'Arboreal Connections'. What a diverse celebration of creativity across the three exhibitions, which included a fantastic projection installation by the 'Mirror Mirror' exhibition and live music.

Carol, Bronwyn and I are all thrilled with how our show has come together and we extend special thanks to Kevin for his assistance with the hanging, which was quite a tall order given the size and weight of Bronwyn's work and all my small pieces!

Thanks to all the staff and volunteers at the Butter Factory for all their hard work, putting on the opening event and helping us get the show together!

It was wonderful to see such a great turnout and have an opportunity to celebrate the coming together of our work in this exhibition.

There's something very special about presenting a whole body of work together for the first time; especially with my Portal Series having such a strong and personal narrative. It meant a great deal to see it so well received by those I talked with on the night (and since). And a big thank you to everyone who's taken time to get in touch via Instagram and Facebook for all your lovely messages and comments about the series and the exhibition.

The show runs until Sunday 26th March, do pop along if you can and enjoy all three shows!
