Abstract Painting is a Journey: The Sub Way - Work in Progress

Abstract art with vibrant red, orange, yellow, and white geometric shapes layered across a chaotic, textured canvas. Energetic and dynamic.
Painting is a Journey - The Sub Way

It's a similar story with all of my abstract paintings - from the chaotic beginnings to the final resolution, the journey is guided only by what emerges autonomously and my sense of awareness of what is unfolding in front of me.

Painting puts me in a state of hyper awareness, in such a way that I'm able to grasp those moments of magic that appear before me, and work with them, nurturing them, but letting them lead the way.

The process of painting 'The Sub Way' was full of risks and experiments, being the first in this body of work. There are several more works in progress.

These pieces seem to have an inherent intensity which makes them a formidable challenge to tackle on a daily basis!
