Transform Your Space with Art
Choosing the right presentation for your Limited Edition art print can transform how it looks and feels in your space. Whether you want a sleek, modern look or a classic, textured finish, the framing option you choose plays a big role in settling the piece into your home.

You'll find four standard product options listed in my shop:
Paper | Unframed
Canvas | Unframed
Canvas | Gallerywrap
Canvas | Framed
(Custom framing for paper prints is available on request).
Let's take a look at three popular choices for presenting your art print in your space.
Paper Framed Prints
Paper framed prints are a traditional and versatile way to display your wall art print. The print itself is produced on high-quality archival-grade fine art paper, ensuring longevity and color accuracy. My prints are created on cotton rag, which has a lovely smooth finish and takes ink beautifully. They are also coated with a layer of archival satin varnish, which, while not visible, protects the surface of the print during framing and handling.

Technical Details - Paper Print
Material: Canson Edition Etching 310gsm Cotton Rag Paper - museum grade, archival quality, and acid-free.
Printing Process: Giclée printing with Canon pigment inks for sharp detail and rich colors. These inks have an archival lightfast rating for the ultimate longevity without fading.
Framing Your Print
Recommended Frame: Wood or metal frames with a product such as 'TruVue' glass or acrylic glazing are ideal for protecting your print. Different glazing options have varying degrees of reflective coating to suit your budget.
Acrylic is lighter weight (and can be shipped easily) and has the same protective properties as glass. It is often preferred by galleries for ease of handling without the risk of breakage.
Glass or acrylic also reduces exposure to dust and moisture and enhances the preservation of the art print.
Mounting: The print is often mounted on acid-free mat board to prevent warping and discoloration. A mat board surround 'frames the print' behind the glazing. This keeps the glazing off the surface of the actual print and creates options for adding detailed surrounds in the form of layered mat boards or mat boards in colors that complement or contrast with the artwork.
Aesthetic Impact
Paper framed prints have a classic look. The frame and matting can be customized to match your décor, from sleek black metal frames for a modern vibe to ornate wooden frames for a traditional feel. The glass adds a subtle shine that enhances the colors but can sometimes cause glare depending on lighting, both natural and artificial. Consider this when hanging your framed print.
This style suits spaces where you want the art to feel refined and protected, such as living rooms, offices, or galleries. Framing a paper print is a great way to personalize the artwork to suit your space and your budget.
Canvas Gallerywrap
Gallerywrap canvas prints are a popular choice for a contemporary look and feel. The image is printed directly onto the canvas fabric, which is then stretched tightly over a wooden frame, wrapping around the edges.
The edges of the print are mirrored to wrap seamlessly around the edge of the timber framing, creating a neat three-dimensional effect without the need for additional decorative framing.

Technical Details
Material: Canson Pro 395gsm Canvas
Printing Process: Giclée printing with Canon pigment inks for sharp detail and rich colors. These inks have an archival lightfast rating for the ultimate longevity without fading.
Frame: Kiln-dried timber stretcher with corner bracing for strength.
Finish: Three coats of protective varnish to guard against dust and protect against UV damage.
Aesthetic Impact
Gallerywrap art prints offer a modern, minimalist look. Without glass or an outer frame, the art can feel more immediate and approachable. These art prints are an economical option if you're looking for larger statement pieces.
The texture of the canvas adds depth, softens the image slightly, and adds a painterly quality to the art print. This enhances pieces with brushstroke details and painterly effects. Larger art prints can be created on canvas, as prints on paper have size limitations.

Canvas Framed Prints
Canvas framed prints combine the texture of canvas with the structure and finish of an external frame. These prints are produced on canvas and stretched over a wooden frame, but unlike the gallery wrap, they are then placed inside a traditional floating frame.

Technical Details
Material: Canson Pro 395gsm Canvas
Printing Process: Giclée printing with Canon pigment inks for sharp detail and rich colors. These inks have an archival lightfast rating for the ultimate longevity without fading.
Finish: Three coats of protective varnish to guard against dust and UV damage.
Frame: Kiln-dried timber stretcher with corner bracing for strength, with an external floating frame in Black, White, or Australian Oak.
Framing in this way protects the canvas edges and provides a border in the color and finish of your choice that can complement the artwork. My framing options include Black, White, or Australian Oak, but if you prefer to select your own frame, simply order an unframed canvas print or a gallery wrap and take it to your local framer for more options.
Aesthetic Impact
Canvas framed prints balance the tactile feel of canvas with the formality of a frame. The frame adds definition and can enhance the colors by contrasting or complementing them. This option is the perfect choice if you already have framed artworks as a theme in your home.
Choosing the Right Art Print Option for Your Space
When deciding between paper framed, canvas gallery wrap, and canvas framed prints, consider these factors:
Durability: Paper framed prints with glass offer the best protection against dust and damage.
Texture: Canvas options add a tactile quality that paper cannot replicate.
Style: Paper framed prints suit traditional or formal settings, gallery wraps fit modern spaces, and canvas framed prints offer a contemporary look in any style of space.
Lighting: Glass can cause glare, so avoid hanging paper framed prints in very bright rooms unless you use anti-reflective glass.
Size: Larger sizes are generally more achievable on a canvas substrate.
Budget: Gallery wrap canvas prints can be more affordable than custom framing paper prints depending on size.
