Hi, I’m Charlotte - welcome to 'Landscapes of the Soul'

I grew up in the ancient, glacier-carved hills and valleys of the Yorkshire Dales in England - landscapes shaped slowly, over thousands of years - and now paint from a bushland studio on Australia's Sunshine Coast.

​

I've come to think the soul is shaped in much the same way: gradually carved and moulded over time, by every experience that's passed through it.

​

My abstract mixed media paintings are how I explore that quiet, ongoing process of memory, belonging, and becoming, and the search for a place that feels like home.
