This painting describes the restless energy I have within myself and the resonance I feel with the constant ebb and flow of the ocean, which is similarly in constant motion. I love to walk on the beach and listen to the sea; I find the rhythmic nature of it calming and restorative, as if being in this environment works a special kind of magic on my internal energy and my thoughts. The soft colour palette is a nostalgic nod to the childhood discovery that the beach and the ocean were places that I would cherish throughout my life.
