This warm verdant landscape bathed in light, evokes the rolling hills of the Sunshine Coast hinterland, where I settled after emigrating to Australia many years ago. Under a calm summer evening sky, colour and shape come together in rhythm with the earth in the fading light, creating an opportunity to feel stillness and peace. I have a strong affinity with landscapes that whilst ordinary and everyday can become otherworldly and new at different times of the day depending on the light in the sky; the energy changes, offering a new and beautiful perspective on a familiar view.
