I'm so thrilled to be working with Nakie on a new collection of surface designs for their best selling outdoor products and to be called 'An Artist Of Nakie'! 'The Artists of Nakie Program brings together talented artists who share our passion for the outdoors, using Nakie products as their canvas to express their creativity.' Nakie is an Australian outdoor brand redefining what it means to adventure responsibly.

My studio time is wandering at the moment - perhaps it's to do with it being the end of the year and there's a sense that some down time is on the horizon!  I've been painting, drawing and printmaking l at the same time. Part of me feels a little 'unfocused' but a bigger part of me feels 'free'. No deadlines looming, no exhibitions planned, just some glorious empty space to start 2026!

I've been creating nature-inspired abstract paintings for many years, employing visual notions of landscape as a metaphor for spiritual space and as a means to describe my feelings of connectedness to people, places and experiences. My references to landscape are sometimes quite literal in terms of a desire to evoke a particular environment or place and sometimes these references are more about the spatial relationships between elements and the way these tell stories about human experience.
